Read and Feed Program

Who:  Parent Volunteers

What:  Read a book to a classroom of children prior to or after the lunch period.  Volunteers also supervise the class during the lunch period either following or prior to reading to the class.  You may volunteer to help out with your child’s classroom or where needed.

When:  One hour of your time once a month.

Shift 1:  11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. (1st Grade)
Shift 2:  12:25 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. (2nd Grade)

Why:  This opportunity allows the teachers to meet once a month to go over lesson plans or receive training as a group.  It in turn allows parents the opportunity to be involved with the school and more importantly with your child.
Where:  Western Primary Building

Interested?  Please contact Melissa Richmond 883-8378 to volunteer your time to this worthwhile project.
