PANTHER PRIDE

Panther Pride, the Western Adult Athletic Boosters, is looking forward to another successful year for our athletic teams. Panther Pride was organized in 1983 to promote school spirit and sportsmanship, as well as provide financial assistance to the athletic program.

Panther Pride's major contribution has been to provide the letter jackets awarded to the student athlete that accumulates 35 points or more during their athletic career. Additionally, Panther Pride has provided financial assistance for the weight room renovations, track, gymnastics, soccer, baseball/softball equipment, swimming timing system, and camera upgrades for football and basketball
However, a new policy has been adopted by the board of Panther Pride for the 2012-13 school year. For athletes to receive their letter jacket free of charge, the athlete’s parent(s) or guardian(s) must be a member of Panther Pride. If an athlete’s family is not a Panther Pride member, then they will be charged full price for their student’s letter jacket.

With the continued support of fans, parents and booster club members, Panther Pride will be able to provide this special award recognition for the athletes' accomplishments, but we need your help! First, you may become a member by logging onto www.western.k12.in.us and go to the High School homepage under Athletics. Secondly, we need you to donate your empty ink or laser cartridges. You may do this by dropping your cartridges off at any of the school front offices, admissions building, or the high school gym lobby in the collection bins provided. Thank you!
